Combat Control

Class packs and drop-ins

Sell class packs of any size, like 5 or 10; each check-in uses one class.

Why it matters. Casual students and visitors don't want a membership. Taking cash at the door and ticking names on a card loses money and time.

How it works

  1. Set a pack: how many classes, the price, how long it lasts, which classes it covers and who can buy it (adults, kids or anyone).
  2. People buy a pack on your join page as a drop-in option, or from the member app, and pay once by card.
  3. Each check-in uses one class, with a membership used first if they have both. A double scan only uses one.
  4. With no classes left, check-in says so. On the phone it offers another pack on the spot; the kiosk tells them to top up in the app.
  5. At two classes left the member gets a reminder with a link to buy another. Refund an unused pack in full, or part of a used one.

Who uses it

  • Owner. Sets the packs and prices and sees who is on one or running low.
  • Members and visitors. Buy a pack, see classes left and top up from their phone.

Questions

Can a pack cover only some classes?

Yes. Choose the class types a pack covers, for example open mat only, or every class.

What happens to unused classes when they buy another pack?

Classes left on a pack carry over when the member tops up in time.
