How long does setup take?

A new gym can be live in under 30 minutes. The onboarding wizard handles everything: belts, class types, automation templates, and Stripe connection.

Do students need to download an app?

No. The student portal is a mobile-first web app that works on any phone browser. No app store, no downloads, no updates. Just open and train.

Can I migrate from Mindbody or spreadsheets?

Yes. We handle data migration as part of onboarding. CSV import for student lists, and we help map your existing data.

What happens to my Stripe payments?

Each gym connects their own Stripe account. Money goes directly to you. We never hold your funds. Combat Control charges a transparent 2.5% platform fee on member payments, deducted at the moment of charge via Stripe Connect. Less than Mindbody, Wodify, or PushPress all-in, and published rather than buried in processing.

Who owns my member and payment data?

You do, always. Your members, attendance, billing, and payment records belong to your academy. Your Stripe account connects directly to you and we never hold your funds. We process your data on your behalf; we never sell it or share it.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

No lock-in and no exit fee. You can export students, attendance, and revenue to CSV at any time, including after you cancel. Your Stripe account and its full payment history stay entirely yours. Ask us and we will permanently delete your remaining data.

Can I try before committing?

Yes. 14-day free trial, no credit card required. Full access to every feature. For franchise networks (3+ gyms), we offer a dedicated pilot program with hands-on onboarding.

What about SMS costs?

Every plan includes SMS messages (100-500/mo depending on tier). Extra messages are $0.08 each. Email automations are unlimited on all plans. No hidden fees.

Can I embed a trial booking on my website?

Yes. Drop one script tag on your existing site and students can browse your schedule and book trial classes directly. The widget uses your brand colors and logo. No development needed.

Is the branding customisable?

Yes. Your gym logo, brand colors, and name appear everywhere: the student app, email templates, the embeddable widget, the public timetable, and the kiosk check-in screen. It looks like your system, not ours.
